Our Computer Centre is equipped with all modern and state-of-art hardware and software resources to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students. This aims in developing not only the technical skills as well as analytical skills of the student. The Computer Centre comprises of 75 computers (Pentium IV as well as Celeron), all loaded with high quality software. Advanced Networking Technologies have been implemented to seamlessly integrate all the PCs in the computer labs as well as multiple operating systems.
The entire campus is connected with the Local Area Network (LAN). Inter-Building cabling segments have been laid underground throughout the campus.
The Central computer facility mainly operates on Microsoft Windows 2000 and Linux. All current computer network protocols are installed on the network
IIMT has acquired 1 Mbps RF link. Accessories in computer centre include video to CD converter, CD writers, scanners, printers, LCD Projector. In addition, the dept. already has state-of-the-art multimedia and internet labs with round the clock availability of internet.
On working days the computer centre is open for 12 hrs. Over the past few years ISHAN Institute of Management Technology has built an excellent infrastructure for imparting software skills to the students and software development using the lastest software development tools and technologies.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
For argumentation of learning process, every student of the institute his equipped with a lap-top duly connected with Wi-Fi internet facility for surfing, browsing and exploring various websites. At the same time our computer literate faculty members pass on assignment, topics for presentation and debate to the student and even evaluate the assignment.
